EarSkinz
Shown Here In Blue, The Earskinz Provide A Better Listening Experience With The Apple Earpods
As you may know, I absolutely love the Apple Earpods. I use them as my default earbuds for doing
pretty much anything. I even prefer them to the Beats By Dre Solo Headphones. While I think that
they are great, there have always been two issues. When worn for long periods of time, the Earpods
can get incredibly uncomfortable to wear. The second issue is that while doing any activity where
your head moves, they will fall out of your ears. I was always looking for a solution to this issue.
That’s why I was thrilled when Earskinz sent me a pair of Earskinz For Earpods to review.
The first thing I noticed when I opened the box was the packaging. It is really cool and
functional. I did some research and learned that they actually won The Dieline Package Design
Award For 2013. All it took to open it was pulling the plastic cover off of the top. Inside were the two silicon Earpod covers. That was when a problem occurred. The Earskinz are very hard
to put on. It took so much stretching and pulling that I was worried about ripping them. Now that I they are stretched, they can be taken on and off without issue. That said, it isn’t hard to
take them off, but they will not come off during use.
I have used the Earskinz for about 3 weeks and I never take them off. They just change the way you wear Earpods. I do not even like wearing Earpods without them. They never fall
out of my ears, and they are a lot more comfortable. That said, there is a small issue that I have with the way Earskinz are marketed. The claim that the Earskinz improve sound quality is false. I tested them extensively to
try to find an example of them improving sound quality, but I couldn’t. So don’t use that as a reason
to buy them.
